Luxury Destination wedding Annecy French Alps

A wedding in a luxurious renovated palace on the mountain overlooking the lake - what could be more grandiose? When my friend and colleague Cristophe Serrano invited me to assist him at this wedding, I immediately agreed.

And now we are not talking about the famous Italian Como, but about the legendary French city of Annecy, the medieval old town at the foot of the French Alps.

Occupying a position between the crystal clear waters of Lake Annecy and the snow-capped mountains of the Alps, Annecy immediately reinvigorates the senses. The crisp fresh air and glorious panoramas capture the true essence of life. Floral-lined banks and idyllic bridges add to the allure of Annecy all while overlooked by majestic scenery. After just a couple of hours walking these streets, it is clear why Annecy is often referred to as the “Pearl” or “Venice of the Alps”

The incredible white & dusty rose floral compositions and the design were created by the famous wedding decorator and stylist Linda Champenois.

Every detail was beautifully orchestrated to obtain a dreamy and picturesque setting! The combination of the ceremony by the lake, the quartet playing in the gazebo, the vintage carriage ride, and the grand arrival created a truly magical and unforgettable experience for the bride and groom as well as the guests.

All those details were stunning: from the luxurious jewelry and watches from renowned brands like Cartier to Rolex, to the richly adorned banquet room, every aspect was meticulously curated to exude opulence and elegance.
